How does pico laser tattoo removal work?
The PicoMAX laser breaks tattoo ink into tiny particles using ultra-fast light pulses. These particles are then cleared by your lymphatic system over the weeks following each session.
Because the pulses are so short, the skin heats up less than with older Q-switched lasers. We adjust the energy and wavelength to your skin tone and ink colour, so darker skin can also be treated safely; we check this at your consultation.
Most clients say the sensation is quick and tolerable, and easier than getting the tattoo. We use cooling to make it more comfortable.
