Terms and Conditions for Lana Skyn Clinic

1. Introduction

Welcome to Lana Skyn Clinic. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Services

Lana Skyn Clinic provides a range of medical and aesthetic treatments, including but not limited to skincare treatments, laser therapy, and cosmetic procedures. The details of the services are available on our website and in our clinic.

3. Appointments and Cancellations

3.1 Appointments

  • Appointments can only be made via our website

  • You are required to arrive on time of your appointment to complete any necessary paperwork.

3.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you have to do that via a ‘reschedule’ or ‘cancel’ link in your confirmation email

  • Failure to cancel or reschedule appointments via the link may result in a cancellation fee.

4. Payment and Fees

4.1 Payment

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

  • We accept credit/debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated on our website.

4.2 Fees

  • Our fees for services are detailed on our website and in our clinic.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but we will honor the price at the time of booking.

  • Rates apply, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, for the duration of a calendar year and can be adjusted and/or indexed annually.

5. Refunds

5.1 Service Refunds

  • Refunds for services are not generally provided, except in cases of adverse reactions or unsatisfactory results as determined by the clinic management.

  • Any requests for refunds must be made within 7 days of the service date.

5.2 Product Refunds

  • Products purchased from our clinic may be returned or exchanged within 14 days if they are unopened and in their original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges.

6. Medical Disclaimer

  • Our treatments and services are provided by qualified professionals. However, results can vary from person to person.

  • We make no guarantees about the results of any treatment or service.

  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete medical history and to inform us of any changes to your health status.

7. Client Obligations

7.1 Client Desires and Treatment Refusal

  • The clinic is entitled not to respond to an unreasonable and/or unusual desire of the client and may refuse to carry out a treatment.

7.2 Consent for Treatment

  • Prior to the execution of the treatment agreement, the client grants written, unconditional and without reservation permission to the clinic by completing and signing the clinic intake form.

7.3 Payment Obligations

  • If the client does not pay the invoice on time and/or in full after a request or demand from the clinic, the client is in default. The clinic is then entitled to charge the client the statutory interest on the invoice amount or the remainder thereof. The clinic is then also authorized to take collection measures without further notice. The costs associated with the collection (including extrajudicial costs and other costs) will be borne by the client.

  • The payment obligation does not expire if the client terminates the agreement.

  • If you have purchased a package and choose to pay in installments, you are obliged without reservation to purchase or pay for the entire package. You cannot claim settlement. If you choose to cancel the package prematurely, you will still owe payment for the entire package to the clinic without reservation. The term and amount can be found in the description of the invoice.

8. Liability

8.1 Treatment Outcomes

  • The clinic cannot guarantee the number of treatments required to achieve the desired result.

  • The clinic is not liable for burning, blistering, scarring, skin damage, pigment shift, or any (rare) skin reaction after or as a result of the laser treatment(s).

  • The clinic is not liable for (aggravated) pigmentation on the skin after the treatment(s).

  • The clinic is not liable for reduced pigmentation on the skin after the treatment(s).

  • Piercings, birthmarks, pigment spots, foreign features, skin abnormalities, or any abnormality on the skin have an increased risk of skin damage due to the laser treatment(s). The clinic is not liable for any skin damage and/or skin reaction resulting from the aforementioned body characteristics.

8.2 Best Efforts Obligation

  • The clinic has an obligation of best efforts and no obligation of result with regard to the client(s) it treats. The clinic will make every effort to achieve the desired result insofar as this is medically feasible and responsible. The clinic accepts no liability in the event that, despite best efforts, the result proves to be unachievable. This is in accordance with applicable case law and regulations.

8.3 Hair Growth

  • The clinic is not liable for (aggravated) hair growth due to any radiating heat from the laser on other parts of the body or as a result of shaving the treated body parts.

  • The clinic is not liable for reducing hair growth due to any radiating heat from the laser.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1 Severability

  • If any provision of these terms and conditions is void or voidable, this will not affect the validity of the other provisions.

9.2 Governing Law

  • The agreement concluded between the clinic and the client, and any further agreements concluded in implementation thereof, is exclusively governed by Dutch law.

9.3 Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • Changes will be notified to the client in writing or electronically by email and will take effect one (1) month after the date of that announcement, unless stated otherwise in the announcement. If the client does not object to the change in the terms and conditions within one (1) month after the date of the announcement, the client is deemed to have accepted the change. If the client objects to the change in the terms and conditions within one (1) month after the date of the announcement, this constitutes a ground for dissolution of the agreement.
