Carbon Peeling Amsterdam: laser carbon peel from €129
A carbon peeling at Lana Skyn costs €129 per session, or €297 for a package of 3 sessions (€99 per session). The treatment takes about 30 minutes, has no downtime and is available at Lana Skyn Amsterdam Noord (Bezaanjachtplein 281). The consultation is free.
What is a carbon peeling?
A thin layer of liquid carbon is applied to the face. A laser then heats and vaporises the carbon, taking dead skin cells, excess oil and dirt from the pores with it. The treatment is also known as the Hollywood peel or China doll facial. It is good for enlarged pores, oily skin, blackheads, mild acne, dull skin, uneven skin tone and fine lines.
Does it hurt and is there downtime?
Most clients describe a warm, prickling feeling; no anaesthetic is needed. The skin may be slightly pink for a few hours and make-up can be applied the next day. You can go straight back to work.
Results and how many sessions
You see an immediate glow after one session. For pores, oily skin and acne, the best results come from a course of 3 to 6 sessions, 2 to 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance every 1 to 2 months. Carbon laser peels are generally suitable for all skin types; we check this during your free consultation.
